As for the shoot, the setting took place in Golden Gate Park on a picnic table somewhere. I used the D40 with a 35mm F1.8 Nikon DX lens with most of the shots and some with the 18-55mm DX kit lens. The weather was ok; it started out with a bit of sun behind the clouds, then it came out, then it kept hiding back behind the clouds again so there was a lot of dial spinning. Oh and a bit of sprinkling. I continually realize that I am a sucker for color, bokeh, and overexposure. Gotta get my head out of it. These pictures posted are basic quality JPGs direct from the camera. The D40 only allows for JPG basic, normal, and fine with the option for RAW and RAW+basic. I chose the last option with this shoot so there are a buttload of pictures for Winnie and I to sift through and post-process. Also, did I tell you? She's an expert on photoshop. I need to LEARN! These pictures are the ones I thought were pretty good just stand alone. Let's hope I update with some edited ones soon.
